Scherzi a parte, ma lo scenario cosa prevede con la presa di Alessandria ? la fine dei giochi o si continua fino al termine dei turni a disposizione ?

 

Direi piuttosto una spiaggia di 3000 km, posteggio a Bengazi e sdraio/cabine riservate ad Alessandia...vatti a fidare dei tour operator!!!

Finalmente Rodi è stata liberata, onore delle armi per la resistenza della divisione alleata

 

So che ci stanno lavorando, ma sui tempi non so dirti nulla.

 

Ora negli ambienti dell'Asse regna un cauto ottimismo...sono ansiosi di vedere cosa avranno di fronte a Sollum. Speriamo che Mazzocco mandi presto il turno ma mi sa che dovrò aspettare alcuni giorni.

 

In ogni caso sempre più convinto che questo mod non siano granchè bilanciati, basta vedere la fatica insensata fatta a Rodi e l'inutilità della CAP contro i Wellington

 

Assolutamente migliorabile, hai ragione. Spero però che queste "aree oscure" siano equamente distribuite tra le due parti così l'esito finale del PBEM non sia troppo stravolto.
Comunque per la resistenza degli inglesi a Rodi, giocando con WITP classic, non era raro vedere contingenti resistere su atolli anche se isolati ed in forte minoranza.

Un il mio convoglio che stava scaricando a Bengazi è stato attaccato: inutile la CAP come sempre e due navi sono state colpite.

Fortunatamente la fase di scarico truppe era già conclusa quindi i danni sono stati limitati: ad ogni modo la Ramb II è quasi sicuramente persa.


I panzer sono arrivati a Sollum e le forze inglesi sembrano consistenti (oltre 27K uomini): ho ordinato un bombardamento per verificare i dati della recon.




Da domani i Ju-88 di base ad Atene cominceranno a lanciare bombe su tutti gli aeroporti inglesi sulla costa: devo assolutamente contrastare il dominio della RAF in questo settore se voglio avere qualche speranza di avanzare!

Il raid dei bombardieri tedeschi partiti da Atene è finito malissimo. La contraerea inglese è stata formidabile: ho perso in una sola giornata 12 apparecchi a fronte di pochi danni a terra.
Ho deciso di non ripetere più questi raid: sarà compito delle BB italiane logorare le truppe inglesi a terra.

Canale di Sicilia
A sorpresa è comparsa la Eagle tra la Sardegna e la Tunisia: la mia recon non aveva individuato nessuna TF nemica nel turno precedente!!!
Comunque tutti gli aerei disponibili, visto il bel tempo, si sono alzati in volo e in più riprese hanno impegnato le navi inglesi.
Come sempre gli aerei italiani hanno hanno sempre fallito i bersagli e subito la AA nemica ma 2 bombe da 500lb sganciate da Bf-110D-3 hanno colpito la portaerei lasciandola in fiamme .
Per domani ho ulteriormente aumentato gli aerei in naval attack soprattutto a Cagliari ed Ostia pensando ad una inversione di rotta della TF inglese. Rimane da capire la missione della Eagle :humm:

Se non sbaglio la Eagle era di stanza a Gibilterra, probabile che Mazzocco la stesse mandando ad Alessandria.

 

Io ho alcune ipotesi a riguardo:

1. Scorta ad una TF di rifornimenti per Malta non ancora individuata dalla mia recon
2. Lancio sull'isola di altri aerosiluranti per poi tornare a Gibilterra
3. Puntata offensiva in cerca di qualche convoglio verso la Libia

Storicamente le CV inglesi servirono come trampolino per riempire Malta di spitfire: se è così oggi ne ho già sfoltiti un bel po

PS: a Cagliari ho una TF da battaglia (2 CA, 2 CL, 6 DD) pronta a prendere il largo. Per ora non si muoverà visto che la Eagle è ancora operativa e non so quanti aerosiluranti imbarca. Se nel prossimo turno riuscissi a replicare qualche buon colpo rendendola non operativa potrei pensare ad un ingaggio. Sono curioso di vedere la prossima mossa del mio avversario
