    Domenica 25 - Giovedì 29 Aprile 1944 - Turno 871-875 - Washington, ore 10:25
    DAY-62-66 DELLE OPERAZIONI

    1) CenPac / Sub

Saumlaki verrà risparmiata, così come Timor.

I genieri saranno aviotrasportati a seguire.

    3) Altro

Arrivati vari grandi convogli a Sydney.

Vedremo come va.
Vedremo.

In ogni caso, saranno turni decisivi.

    1) CenPac / Sub

    No news dal CenPac.

I sub minano zone intorno a Ternate. Altre mine arrivano domani.

    2) SoPac

    DEI_5.jpg

    DEI_6.JPG

    Deliberate a Umboi Island.

    3) DEI

Sweep dovunque e bombardamenti a tappeto. A fine giornata io perdo oltre 250 a/c contro i 125 a/c giapponesi, ma Darwin viene crivellata:
    DEI_7.jpg

Ho mandato 2-3 DMS a bombardare e sminare, comunque.

Il grosso delle mie TF sono un paio di hex a N-E di Darwin e un 3 hex a S-W di Saumlaki. Sarà un massacro.

FUEL esaurito dovunque. SUPPLIES mediocri. Preghiamo.

    Replay di un'oretta, niente male!!

    Alcune cose random:
    - delusione B29, poca resa e discrete perdite, riescono i rimpiazzi+riparazioni a starci dietro?

Oh sì, a morte i sub!

Funzionare, funzionano.

    4) Altro

    Nulla di nuovo.
