    Ciao a tutti,

    ho caricato una nuova versione aggiornata della mod.

    Questo aggiornamento prosegue il lavoro di revisione degli eventi e della struttura generale, con una maggiore attenzione alla coerenza storica e alla solidità del gameplay nel lungo periodo. L’obiettivo è rappresentare in modo più credibile le tensioni politiche, diplomatiche e ideologiche della fine del XIX secolo, evitando di trattare il periodo come una semplice introduzione alla Grande Guerra.

    La mod è ancora in fase di sviluppo attivo. Diverse catene di eventi non sono complete, il bilanciamento richiederà ulteriori test e alcuni contenuti verranno ampliati o rivisti in futuro. Lo sviluppo continuerà con calma, privilegiando accuratezza e stabilità rispetto alla velocità.

    Come sempre, commenti e critiche costruttive sono benvenuti.
    Ulteriori aggiornamenti verranno pubblicati in questo thread.

    Fai particolare attenzione ai primi errori della sezione eventi, perché i } extra temo che blocchino la lettura degli eventi successivi, quindi è possibile che molti eventi non possano avvenire a causa di questo.

    Ciao, grazie mille davvero per il tempo che hai dedicato e per avermi fornito questo feedback così dettagliato, lo apprezzo molto.
    Il controllo sugli errori è particolarmente utile, soprattutto per quanto riguarda quelli sugli eventi: verificherò subito i } extra perché, come giustamente segnali, potrebbero effettivamente interrompere la lettura degli eventi successivi.
    Avrei solo un chiarimento da chiederti: la versione di Darkest Hour 1.06 che hai utilizzato è la patch non ufficiale/community?

    Siccome sono stati aggiunti controlli extra, fornisce più errori rispetto a quelli riportati dalla patch 1.05.2.

    Alcune informazioni sugli aggiornamenti apportati di recente alla MOD.
    In particolare:
    • Impero Ottomano
      È stata costruita una vera e propria catena sul debito (1897–1910) centrata sull’OPDA, sull’illusione di crescita tramite commercio e sul drenaggio costante di risorse. Il giocatore ha ora scelte fiscali e sociali credibili, con trade-off reali, che preparano in modo coerente gli snodi storici del 1908 (Giovani Turchi), 1911 (guerra italo-turca) e il collasso post-bellico, evitando soluzioni “facili” o irrealistiche. L’idea è che il debito resti una gabbia strutturale, ma con margini di manovra politici.

    • Commercio e penetrazione europea
      Sono stati introdotti eventi descrittivi e diplomatici che modellano la perdita di controllo ottomana sulle rotte commerciali tradizionali, con tensioni realistiche verso Gran Bretagna, Francia e Germania, senza usare meccaniche forzate.

    • Italia liberale
      È stata sviluppata una catena coerente sul trasformismo giolittiano, collegata a riformismo, sindacati, industrializzazione e ambizioni coloniali, con uso sistematico di flag per dare continuità alle scelte e un evento di sintesi che “chiude” il ciclo in modo storicamente credibile.

    • Impero Britannico
      Inserita una mini-catena sul British Trade Dollar e sul ruolo della sterlina commerciale in Asia, collegata alla crisi monetaria asiatica e alle relazioni diplomatiche con i paesi coinvolti, per rendere più tangibile la dimensione finanziaria dell’impero.
    In generale, l’obiettivo condiviso è stato quello di:

    • privilegiare vincoli strutturali invece di bonus gratuiti

    • usare eventi come strumenti di narrazione storica e scelta politica

    • preparare gli eventi futuri tramite flag coerenti

    • rispettare rigorosamente la storicitá
    Il risultato è un gameplay più lento, più duro, ma anche più credibile e leggibile nelle sue conseguenze di lungo periodo.

    Aggiornamento degli sviluppatori – Paesi Bassi e Indie orientali olandesi (1897-1910)

    Durante l'ultima fase di sviluppo mi sono concentrato sul dare ai Paesi Bassi e alle Indie orientali olandesi un percorso di gioco più strutturale e storicamente fondato, allontanandomi dai bonus a breve termine e orientandomi verso pressioni e compromessi a lungo termine.
    Per i Paesi Bassi (HOL), i nuovi eventi sottolineano la trasformazione del dominio coloniale in un equilibrio economico e diplomatico. Gli investimenti nelle Indie portano crescita e stabilità, ma espongono anche la posizione olandese a crescenti pressioni da parte delle altre grandi potenze. Le reti commerciali britanniche, l'espansione industriale tedesca e l'ascesa del Giappone come attore regionale sono rappresentate attraverso graduali cambiamenti nelle relazioni, scelte protezionistiche e strategie piuttosto che conflitti immediati.
    Per le Indie orientali olandesi (INO), il gameplay riflette ora la duplice natura dello sviluppo coloniale: l'espansione delle infrastrutture e del commercio coesiste con tensioni sociali, risveglio politico e crescente consapevolezza delle rivalità di potere globali. Gli eventi modellano l'impatto della penetrazione economica straniera, la cooperazione o la resistenza locale e la lenta emergenza della coscienza nazionalista senza forzare un'indipendenza precoce e antistorica.​

    Obiettivi chiave della progettazione:

    • Lo sviluppo economico crea conseguenze diplomatiche esterne, non solo crescita interna.
    • La stabilità coloniale è condizionata e fragile, non garantita.
    • Le strategie e le variabili a lungo termine preparano i percorsi futuri (disordini regionali, attriti diplomatici, sviluppi post-1910).
    • Nessuna corsa alla guerra, ma crescenti tensioni strutturali coerenti con il periodo.
    Il risultato è un rapporto tra Paesi Bassi e Indie orientali che appare sempre più esposto, competitivo e globalmente intricato con l'avvicinarsi del XX secolo, esattamente come è stato storicamente.
