    La prossima patch dovrebbe uscire prima di Natale (una sorta di regalo) ed essere focalizzata su miglioramenti dell'area del Giappone e delle Filippine, oltre a vari bugfixes.

    Nel nord delle Filippine, ci saranno 3 nuove TAG: Pangasinan, Tondo e Maynila. Anche se hanno religioni diverse (rispettivamente Mahayana, Hindu e Animist) hanno in comune le nuove idee Luzon.

    Si inizia parlando di performance. La patch 1.24 Japan dovrebbe migliorare le cose, grazie anche all'aiuto di @mikesc e @Groogy.

    Vediamo un grafico che mostra che attività vengono svolte giornalmente.

    AI actors, anche se eseguiti in parallelo, occupano la maggior parte delle risorse, con countries_serial un lontano secondo. Inoltre col passare del tempo la situazione peggiora. Dopo aver svolto un po' di ottimizzazioni, ora la situazione è questa:

    Ci sono ancora dei picchi ma ora la situazione è decisamente migliore.
    @mikesc scende nei dettagli e mostra una migliore allocazione dei thread dell'AI. Prima:

    Dopo aver parlato di performance, si parla di bugfixes. Molti verranno fissati grazie ai bug report nel forum Paradox tra cui problemi coi mercanti nelle Trade Company.

    Per finire si parla di bilanciamento. É stata ridotta la velocità di spostamento degli eserciti da 1.0 a 0.7, ma sono stati aggiunti mezzi per aumentarli. I governi di tipo Nomade avranno un bonus al movimento mentre gli eserciti con addestramento (Drill) 100% avranno un bonus alla velocità del 20%.
    Gli interessi sui debiti avranno un minimo pari a 1.0 e sono stati ridotti i bonus per ridurre gli interessi, in modo da impedire gli abusi sui prestiti.
    I Supply Depot ora dureranno 5 anni invece di 2. L'impatto sul morale delle riserve ora è più importante a causa di un aumento dei danni sul morale.

    - The AI is now more likely to stand its ground when an enemy army approaches if in favorable terrain.

    - Fixed that AI sometimes thought it could attack a target from a neighboring wasteland, causing inaction.
    - AI prefers to siege with 1 or 3 regs above minimum of limit now to avoid attrition.
    - AI armies currently receiving attrition will no longer be drilled (this to prevent additional decision complexity, as well as risk of losing drilled troops to sustained attrition).
    - Fixed another AI recruit - disband issue.
    - AI armies waiting to be transported are now free to move normally until transports are available, this should e.g. lessen attrition and inactivity.
    - Identified where approximately in code AI fort ZoC ignore bug comes from and tried to suppress it.
    - Fixed eternal wars with other AI due to demanding provinces in areas without any forts controlled.
    - Fixed some instances of AI fleets disobeying movement lock when cancelling movement.
    - If an ally is asked to Prepare for War, they will now stop drilling to raise their morale.
    - Splinter armies are a bit more likely to gather up with main close by rather than derping off elsewhere in a few cases.
    - Fixed case of AI having much lower acceptable battle balance if a province was on the way to a target rather than the target itself, leading to suicidal behavior.
    - Splinter armies will no longer stall offensives (should reduce sleepiness somewhat).
    - Made offensives more likely to gather up properly.
    - AI no longer tries to merge together fleets that have no ships in them, it discards them instead as it should.

    - Added check so that only non-subject USA will switch to American government.
    - Added missing word in description for the "Poor of X" muslim school event.
    - Orthodox Event 5 will now generate a proper name for its foreign advisor.
    - Fixed unintended takeover of subjects when creating dependencies other than personal unions.
    - Building units and regiments in a subject when you have an overlord of your own (e.g. Ming) no longer auto-deletes them without refund the next day.
    - Not demanding independence in a peace deal of an independence war where you become Shogun now keeps daimyos as tooltip says.
    - Added missing word in description for the "Poor of X" muslim school events.
    - Fixed bug that could give the Safavid Order modifier to Ardabili provinces.
    - Fixed bad tooltip for the followup event for the coming of the Oromo.
    - Fixed a number of minor script errors.
    - Fixed that the decision to accept Rhodians into the knights gave a local modifier to a country scope, giving no effect.
    - Fixed "Enthrone Timurid Ruler" decision not giving the ruler promised by tooltip.

    in effetti questa volta sono stati molto veloci, le 1.23 è uscita appena un mese fa...però questa è totalmente gratuita, non mi lamento proprio.

    La sola cosa che mi rompe è che facendo così chi come me gioca in ironman la prende in saccoccia ogni volta. Per carità posso fare il downgrade della versione di gioco ma mi sta proprio sulle balle.

    Espandersi in Indonesia sarà un processo più lento, visto che, una volta unificato il Giappone, le Filippine erano sempre le prime isole che colonizzavo.

    Pare che questa patch sia retrocompatibile, quindi a meno di partite in Giappone/Indocina proverei ad andare avanti con questa.

    Beh ho aspettato a startare nuove partite proprio per evitare di perdere tutto. Domani proverò una partita con gli amici indocinesi e vediamo come va.

    Segnalo solo che dopo l'uscita della patch 1.24 due giorni fa oggi è stata rilasciata la patch 1.24.1 per risolvere alcuni problemi:
    1. Subject Nations can now seek support for Neutral nations again (-1000 modifier is only used for "unknown" attitudes)
    2. The decision to adopt Iqta Government is no longer available for Ottoman Governments or Feudal Theocracies.
    3. Multiplayer crash fixed
    4. Fixed crash caused by AI trying to raise Janissaries in lost states.
    5. Fixed ReferenceObject not getting removed form storage (crash fix)
