    L'idea è buona, ma purtroppo c'è sempre la KB che incombe ... l'attacco lo puoi lanciare da 7 esagoni, il che significa che al 90% ti ha già avvistato il turno prima ed hai perso il fattore sorpresa; nello scontro con la CAP la componente offensiva dei caccia a disposizione (quella che o sweeppa o va in escort con i bombardieri) perde un sacco di effettivi e così, se vuoi rimpolparne il numero, devi toglierne da quella a difesa delle portaerei, diminuendone l'efficacia; se arriva la KB al gran completo mentre in queste condizioni stai cercando di raggiungere una base amica (lontanissima) ... son dolori.

    Certo che gli oscar può appenderli al chiodo, ma ha un sacco di bimotori e quelli fan male ...

    Fai benissimo ... e tieni sempre in perfetta efficienza le CV ... aggiornale, riparale ... sono la chiave della guerra nel Pacifico e quindi anche di questa meravigliosa simulazione ;)

    Alt. Io facevo la kb ridotta ai minimi per via della battaglia (pesante pure per lui anche se vittoriosa).

    Non ricordo gli hex dei Corsair ma intendevo usare solo loro in sweep giusto per demolire la sua CAP. Anche ti porti a tiro di 3-4 basi importanti, lui deve scegliere quale difendere. Magari ti butti su un obbiettivo secondario e non l'ha protetto.

    Non sottovaluterei la Cina comunque. Shangai è comparativamente più difficile da proteggere E strategicamente più importante che obbiettivi in Giappone stesso. Almeno per ora.

    swippare con le CV sul giappone mi sembra rischiosetta la cosa.
    ti ricordo che ha i kamikaze e la cap non li ferma tutti se in massa. non ti affonderanno Cv ma te le mandano in riparazione e non le rivedi piu'.
    prima si deve prendere Okinawa. poi swippi da li con i P51 e poi spiani con i B29

    Purtroppo quasi tutte le CV del Pacifico devono effettuare un upgrade, e con sommo disappunto del comando del CENPAC, devono essere ritirate a Pearl Harbour, visto che serve una Shipyard di minimo 5 punti. L'operazione Iceberg dovrà aspettare ancora un mese almeno.

    Mah ... nelle Filippine ormai ho messo piede e la linea dei rifornimenti è abbastanza protetta (ho una carriola di CVE e progressivamente sto spostando nelle basi a S di Manila tutti i P47-D25 dell'area.
    Nel SE asiatico credo non ci sia più niente a parte i capisaldi Saigon e Singapore, il cui assalto comunque gode della piena copertura aerea delle basi terrestri.
    Le CV serviranno per l'attacco a Okinawa, comunque ancora posticipato. A quel punto converrà che siano in piena efficienza.

    io non modernizzerei , subito attacco ad okinawa appena presa manila o ingrandito aeroporti nelle filippine

    Manila sarà un osso duro da rodere ... come dicevi tu, Cohi mi aspetta lì da una vita. Penso di poter utilizzare il Porto di Naga, o di Davao, ma ci vorrà ancora un bel po' di tempo per fare in modo che possano esser buoni per rifornire corazzate e portaerei.
    Quindi tempo da aspettare per lanciare l'operazione Iceberg ce n'è ancora, purtroppo ... così cerco di ottimizzarlo :)

    Davao è un ottimo porto, specie se uno ha la voglia da alleato di prendersi Tarakan e Balikpapan: bastano e avanzano per riempirlo di fuel a sufficienza senza essere mai a secco (do per scontato che la distanza Aus-Davao sia simile a Jap-Davao).

    Con lvl 5 (ed è fattibile veloce con 300 genieri al lavoro) e un fottio di naval support ce la fai a rifornire le corazzate. Perlomeno quelle più vecchie

    Nei cieli sopra Manila inizia una lotta senza quartiere per la supremazia aerea. A dimostrazione del fatto che se non si lascia libertà ai giocatori di impostare sweep e CAP ad altitudini siderali gli scontri sono parecchio equilibrati, non si assiste alla mattanza degli apparecchi giapponesi.
    I nipponici probabilmente hanno dalla loro una maggiore esperienza, mentre gli alleati modelli aerei superiori.

    Nell'estrema retrovia del fronte del pacifico, precisamente sull'atollo di Mili, nelle isole Marshall, è ancora presente un agguerrito e ben fortificato presidio giapponese che, nonostante sia isolato e non rifornito da moltissimo tempo (credo più di un anno), non ha nessunissima intenzione di mollare la presa. Ne fa le spese una piccola TF lì inviata per saggiarne la capacità difensiva.
