Lo farò entrare con una tessera sconto (forte sconto) su tutta la mia produzione, e se viene gentil-accompagnato la tipa non paga.

Comunque a saperli usare (e avendo fortuna) i Sub sono devastanti, davvero. Ho fatto più danni con loro (che vanno mirati) che con una TF da battaglia.

Giornata di guerra sotto il mare, principalmente.
Gli inglesi hanno capito, finalmente, che non ho navi di superfice e oggi ho avuto il mio primo attacco Sub vs Sub. Un nulla di fatto per entrambi, ma adesso so che ci sono anche loro.

Da notare la strage dei Barracuda nel primo attacco pomeridiano. Anche stavolta erano arrivati scoordinati ed è stato un tiro al piccione. Credo di avere dimezzato lo squadrone di Barracuda. A queste condizioni, forse un giocatore umano avrebbe ripensato come fare gli attacchi: gli sto lentamente distruggendo la forza aerea imbarcata, senza subire troppi danni.

La sera cala Su Port Blair e i piloti riposano. Ho fatto diramare l'ordine di evacuazione al mattino prestissimo: tutti gli aerei (meno quelli in riparazione) toglieranno le tende destinazione Tavoy (360 MN, circa 9 exa) direttamente a Est di Port Blair., SI uniranno alla Squadriglia di Zero di Sabang, ai Kate e ai Sally di Rangoon. I piloti sognano grandi battaglie, finalmente all'attacco. Glela faranno vedere loro, ai fottuti inglesi.

La sproporzione di forze è molto grande. Non so se riuscirò a respingere assalti in shock attack. Ma ci proveremo. L'unica che posso tentare è una difesa ad oltranza: contro una forza così grande un contrattacco mi sa che accellererebbe solo la mia fine. E voglio resistere il più possibile, per non dare possibilità di ribasare gli aerei inglesi, subito.

Oggi i bombardieri hanno attaccato una pista di decollo vuota. Molto bene, quando la prenderanno (perché so che lo faranno, sono troppo forti) dovranno spendere loro per aggiustarla.

Nient'altro da segnalare per oggi.

 

Ho ancora degli aerei, quelli in riparazione e mantenimento a Port Blair.



Questo lo perderò di sicuro: 13 gg di mantenimento. Non è pensabile che resista così tanto.



Di questi forse ne salvo la metà, dato che domani e dopo 7 partiranno. Ho fatto un discorso ai piloti, e ho estratto a sorte i nomi di coloro che vanno e di quelli che restano. Ci siamo salutati con una stretta di mano e un sorso di Sake. Bravi ragazzi. Mi mancheranno.

Stò facendo esattamente lo stesso scenario ma da ally, devo dire che la storia è assai diversa, ho già affondato diversi sub, e tirato giù tantissimi aerei, in una sola battaglia sopra port Blair ho tagliato le ali a 20 sally e 6 toro.
Unico neo non so come limitare l'azione dei sub jap intorno a Colombo, cioè intorno a Port Blair ne ho affondato 4/5 , ma a colombo non riesco a pigliarli!

 

prova a mandare aerei in asw di notte a 100 piedi o di giorn a 1000. concentrali in piccole aree . crea TF ASW di massimo 2 navi e falle pattugliare orarie e antiorarie nello stesso tratto di mare.

Come si fanno ad usare?
Che i miei non sparano ad una nave da battaglia manco morti.
In compenso duddano spesso sui cargo, e ne metto a dozzine in una zona, ma che, niente da fare.

 

Saburo un simpatico vecchietto, morto nel 2000 a 84 anni

 

Beh, il gioco considera la guerra aeronavale come primaria: ha stanziato dei bombardieri a Port Blair e dei caccia. Port Blair è un aeroport 2 , quindi ci stanno massimo 3 squadrigie. Una è della recon ed era già lì dall'inizio quindi il gioco ne ha allocate 2, e per bilanciare ne ha messa una di caccia e una di bombardieri.

Io ho demandato ai Sub la caccia alle navi e ai caccia la difesa aerea. Un altro modo di fare la guerra. Certo che se avessi messo solo una squadriglia di Tojo (al massimo ne ho una ventina, anche meno) mi sarei trovato subito in condizioni semidisperate. Potevo upgradare le mie squadriglie ma non l'ho fatto perchè avrei avuto pochi aerei a disposizione, anche se di modello più recente. Così invece potevo disporre di 32/38 caccia e impostandoli in Hit & run ho potuto creare molti problemi all'AI avversaria.

Per i Sub: se sono sicuro che non mi hanno ancora visto mi avvicino da più lati, così controllo anche la rotta delle navi (in collaborazione con la Recon aerea) e gli vado sotto. Altrimenti cerco di capire dove andrà e ci piazzo vari sottomarini lungo la rotta per la quale io credo passerà. Uno per ogni exa. Capita (con l'AI) che ad ogni exa, e se ho indovinato la rotta, che la TF subisca un attacco ogni volta che entra in un exa.

P.S. Il discorso dei sub vale anche come domanda di Lirio. Comunque devi avere un po' di fortuna con i sub, ma anche andartela a cercare. Le prede migliori sono quando metti 2-4 sottomarini lungo la rotta delle TF nemiche, in exa adiacenti. Il gioco calcola la possibilità di attacco Sub ad ogni exa e per ogni Sub. Semplicemente prova ad aumentare la probabilità di colpire mettendo più sub o nello stesso exa o lungo la rotta ipotetica della TF nemica.
Se usi la dottrina Sub automatica ricordati che i Sub americani siluravano molto più voentieri i cargo e i Sub giapponesi andavano sulle navi da guerra. Se vuoi che silurino tutto devi mettere OFF sulla Dottrina dei Sub, nelle impostazioni.

Non sempre è domenica...

Per il resto solite incursioni dei Liberator B24D au un campo di aviazione vuoto e il cannoneggiamento dei soldati di entrambi gli schieramenti a Port Blair.
Non posto i report tanto non dicono nulla di interessante.

A Sabang sono arrivate delle truppe. Non so perché me le hanno fatte arrivare, ma non vorrei che una seconda invasione arrivi prorpio lì. Io le tengo a Sabang, anche perché non ho modo di spostarle, comunque.

Nulla di che, ma finché si limitano a bombardare va benissimo. Intanto mi organizzo a Tavoy, che non ho molte Supplies e sto organizzando un ponte aereo da Rangoon mentre per i Genieri dell'aviazione ho preso quelli delle basi adiacenti che si dovranno sciroppare tutta la strada a piedi, perché lo strategic move mi dice che non ha modo di far arrivare le mie truppe là.
In una settimana arrivano una cinquantina di punti aviazione, che si sommano ai 25 già presenti. Ancora insufficenti, ma saranno i 3/4 dei genieri che ci servono.
Non appena posso farò incursioni in sweep a Port Blair per sfoltire la caccia inglese, poi dopo un paio di giorni mi arrischierò a mandare i bombardieri. Se le navi da trsporto saranno ancora là, colpirò quelle, sennò colpirò l'aeroporto, e gli renderò la pariglia.

Le comunicazioni con il mio secondo, rimasto là, si sono interrotte. Spero abbia fatto una morte onorevole.

Giornata comunque lunga, qui a Tavoy: c'è tutto da fare e da organizzare ma la guerra non si ferma solo per queste piccolezze. Sto valutando se non scambiare gli Zero con i Tojo di Rangoon. Il problema è che i piloti Tojo non hanno esperienza di guerra e non sarebbero efficaci. D'altra parte i Seafire sono più performanti degli Zero.
Li manderò a combattere e deciderò se è il caso di tenerli o scambiare le squadriglie.

Direi che potrei tenere i novellini come difesa di Tavoy, e mandare gli esperti a Port Blair. Gli Zero erano quelli di Sabang, che hanno fatto impazzire i bombardieri inglesi. Hanno tutti una grandissima esperienza.

La squadra navale è attesa in 2-3 giorni al massimo. Avremo finalmente due Navi da Battaglia, più vari incrociatori e molti DD.



La Nagato è di classe Nagato, la Musashi è di classe Yamato. Ma non ne sono molto contento: I cannoni della Nagato hanno una gittata di 36.000 yds mentre quelli della Musashi 42.000. Questo significa un minore volume di fuoco alle lunghe distanze e non va bene. Ma se questo mi manda l'Imperatore, con questo farò del mio meglio. Quando arriveranno Vedrò di organizzarle, magari creo du mini squadre, dipenderà dalle navi nemiche. La mia intelligence comunque mi riporta che ci sono almeno due BB in zona Port Blair. Vedrò di monitorarle con la mia Recon.

Con quasi tutte le CV avversarie fuori gioco potrò approfittarne per fare un po' di pulizia dei mari e dare qualche giorno di riposo ai miei sottomarini e al loro equipaggio, per riarmarsi e svagarsi con qualche prostituta bianca, a Rangoon. Se lo sono meritato, i miei ragazzi...

Oggi si sono affrontati a Port Blair i miei e i loro aerei, ma senza farsi male. Così non va: bisogna essere più incisivi.

Null'altro da segnalare oggi. Continua la marcia dei genieri aerei per Tavoy, se tutto va come previsto, arriveranno fra una settimana circa, più sto facendo un ponte aereo per portarne altri da Rangoon. I cannoni e il resto pesante verrà caricato su una nave da trasporto veloce che mi è arrivata da pochi giorni.
Ho bisogno di mltissimi genieri qui, dato che ho moltissimi aerei, ma credo di poter essere pienamente operativo in 5-7 gg da...ieri... Una mia grave mancanza, quella di non ordinare in anticipo l'invio dei genieri, che pago adesso. Ma ho ancora tempo.

Altra CV che si becca un bel siluro. Se non ricordo male ne aveva già subito un'altro.

La mia TF di Surface Combat andrà a vedere cosa si può fare dalle parti di Colombo. E aspettare le navi che torneranno alla spicciolata. Non posso battermi contro due TF di portaerei che si proteggono a vicenda, quindi vediamo di fargli male in un altro modo. Potrei anche dividere la mia TF e dare la caccia alle CV separatamente, con l'appoggio dei Sub, ma ormai hanno pochi siluri quindi non so se saranno davvero efficaci.

Ho impostato naval attack per i miei bombardieri, ma non vogliono alzarsi in volo. E si che navi nemiche a portata di bomba ci sono... Boh.

Non è successo assolutamente nulla, a parte i soliti avvistamenti di navi varie. Ho dovuto rimandare indietro a Rangoon alcuni miei DD che non avevano milto carburante. Sto pattugliando sulla via di casa per gli inglesi, per sorprendere qualche loro TF isolata. Ancora nessuna segnalazione.
