sono alle porte di chunking....
manila e singapore ( ho portato 6 regg. di art. come suggerito e due eng.) resistono ancora...(giuro che ho il timore di attaccare)
danni elevati, le L.I. non funzionano più, AF 100 di danni.... ma ancora un sacco di truppe.
Morrison è sbarcato a Port Moresby... non con tutto però...
a breve resoconto con qualche dettaglio in più.

 

19 aprile - 11 giugno. La consapevolezza nipponica

Proprio così, l'alto comando nipponico è consapevole di aver sbagliato strategia,soprattutto in Malesia e Filippine e le conseguenze di tali errori inizi a dare i suoi frutti marci.

Andiamo per ordine di importanza dei teatri di guerra.

Cina centrale

Le armate nipponiche sono giunte alle porte di Chungking, l'ultima grande città in mano cinese all'interno della quale ci sono 95 unità cinesi trincerate in forti che credo siano almeno a livello 6, ovvero quello di partenza del gioco. La città è sotto assedio e non dovrebbe avere più supply, dico dovrebbe, perché la certezza non la ho.
Il cinese ha 8 gruppi d'armata a ovest della città con i quali ha cercato per ben due volte di far arretrare le forze giapponesi e tutte due le volte è stato un massacro.
La strada per arrivare fino a qui è stata costellata di vittorie e di qualche sconfitta, vediamo come.

Dopo la conquista di Sian le armate nipponiche si dirigono verso Tienshui che raggiungono il 21 aprile e subito investono le difese cinesi conquistando la città.
Viene dato ordine di proseguire verso Kienko.

Si conclude così la prima fase della manovra iniziata per chiudere da nord la città di Chunking.
Nei giorni successivi le truppe nipponiche di Kienko marceranno verso sud per assediare la città (nella mappa postate sono quelle nella città di Chunking) che raggiungeranno il 29 maggio.
IL cinese ha spostato una unità, proveniente da est, tagliando la strada da Kienko a Chunking... ho già dato ordine ad una divisione che avevo lasciato a Kienko ed ad un reggimento cari di occuparsene. Nel frattempo due squadriglie di Sally li stanno martellando.


Le forze giapponesi che fanno parte del lato sud della manovra per prendere Chunking il 26 aprile respingono un attacco cinese nei pressi della città di Kweiyang. Questa unità cinese era rimasta indietro e tentava di ricongiungersi ad altre forze cinesi presenti in città.

Dopo questo combattimento la situazione è in stallo.
Aspetto le truppe stazionate a sud di Chungking che sono in marcia verso il luogo dello scontro ma devo attraversare il fiume.
Nel frattempo è iniziato il bombardamento terreste della città con discreti risultati.
Ho dato ordine alla 13 armata (5 divisioni, per ora senza supporto di gruppi d'artiglieria) di dirigersi verso Kunming e da li in Birmania.
L'affaire Chinking sarà lungo e doloroso... ma credo di avere truppe sufficienti per gestirlo anche privandomi della 13° armata.

Nella zona di Ankang (ad ovest di Sian), in mano giapponese, vi sono alcune unità cinesi che tentano di riprenderla, ma le due divisioni presenti hanno fino ad ora respinto ogni tentativo infliggendo pesanti perdite al nemico.






Burma
Dopo che ho ripulito le sacche delle unità alleate, Morrison ha inviato due unità cinesi, che prima hanno riconquistato Lashio e poi si sono messe in marcia verso Shwebo.
Intanto da nord sono sbucate due unità che il 4 maggio investono le difese della città di Shwebo ma vengono respinte ed un reggimento carri si mette al loro inseguimento.

Anche qui la situazione è adesso in stallo... io non attacco di sicuro.

Considerazioni generali sulla Birmania.
Sto giocando d'azzardo... infatti ho inviato le due divisioni della 15esima armata a Singapore, quindi in Birmania mi restano 3 divisioni Thai un regg, carri e un reggi di fanteria giapponese.
Per questo ho dato ardine alla 13 esima armata di mettersi in marcia verso la birmania.
Ci sono due unità alleate ad est del fiume davanti ad Akyab... non so chi siano e lì ho solo il regg. giapponese.
Sto costruendo AF a Taung Gyi il prossimo sarà a Lashio appena la riconquisto... non credo di costruire AF nelle pianure.

Per ora l'aviazione alleata non si è vista sei cieli birmani.. e meno male, io ho solo 36 zero stanziati in Birmania.
Posso spostare altri 45 zero e 42 oscar... ma per ora non ho il supporto aereo necessario.





Malesia
Nella schermata sotto potete vedere le truppe che ho a disposizione a Singapore, altri 3 regg. di artiglieria pesante e 3 medi stanno arrivando da Kota Bharu.
Singapore dovrebbe essere senza supply... l'AF ha danni superiori ai 90 e continuo a bombardarlo.

Sul mare lo stai stracciando di brutto , la sua unica fortuna che riesce a resistere via terra in quelle due zone , ma cosa sta facendo morrison?? dopo tutti sti mesi dovrebbe aver portato già tutte le squadriglie di caccia/bombardier/etc in australia , a sidney a quest'ora doveva essere un minimo di cap decente , e invece nulla, a questo punto isola l'australia che a quanto pare non l'ha rifornita di aerei.

 

non riesco ad isolarla del tutto... non ho le DEI.
A perth fa arrivare quello che vuole... mi gioco un centone che le CV inglesi hanno fatto tappa li e li stanno ritornando.
Verso gli USA invece riesco meglio a rendergli la vita difficile.. però credo che abbia timore anche a passare basso... nel report non lo ho inserito ( mi sono dimenticato) ma ho fatto una puntata anche in new zealand con le BB e lgli ho affondato una decina di AK..
Per gli aerei credo che abbia dei problemi di supporto aereo non adeguato... e cmq si non ne ha molti..

Ma, come dice @ivaldi79, la Cap dov'è?! Non ti avrebbe certo fermato, ma qualche decina di aerei, tra caccia e bombardieri, li avresti persi. Oltre a qualche decina di ottimi piloti. Una decina qua, una decina là, ed ecco che devi tornare indietro a rimpiazzare le perdite.

Impara da questi raid fruttuosi per quando verranno i tempi grami: MAI tenere decine di battelli in un porto privo di copertura aerea. MAI. Cioè, puoi anche farlo, ma pattugliando a fondo il mare circostante e tenendo caccia a distanza di spostamento (in un solo turno).

 

Effettivamente non riesco a capire la strategia alleata, al 43 non ci arriva....

il prossimo obbiettivo è java e ci mando la 25 armata al completo, partendo da Singapore.
La 15° la mando a Burma ed insieme alla 11° creo una linea difensiva e poi vediamo... l'india mi pare una chimera per ora.
Le truppe delle Filipine per ora si riposano e si rinforzano.... la loro destinazione è l'Australia.
